People on the Internet talk about the shirt a mother made her son wear to school.

That’s what a mom in Texas did to teach her son a lesson after she learned something useful about him. The kid was making trouble at school. The school’s administrators told his mom that he was mean to other students there.

A mom in Texas said her son was calling other students “idiots” and “stupid,” which was not good. So, the mom made her son, who was being mean, wear a T-shirt that said, “I am a BULLY.” Mom wanted people in her community to know that her son was a bully at Greenleaf Elementary School.

She was aware that other students at the school knew her son was mean to other students. So she made her son wear a T-shirt that made him look bad in front of hundreds of people at school and thousands of people online who saw his mom’s Facebook post. She did this because she wanted everyone to know that she believed them. Look at the picture of the shirt below:

A mom from Texas named Star told KTRK-TV, “He was calling other boys stupid and idiots.” Star asked that only her first name be used. “I’m a very traditional parent.” My kids aren’t spoiled by me. I’m honest with them about everything.

Star put up a picture of her son wearing the T-shirt on her Facebook page so that as many people as possible would know that he was mean. Star wrote, “I put it up so that I could get in touch with the parents of any kids my son may have picked on so that he could apologize to each of them personally.”

Some people thought Star went too far when she punished her son for being mean, but Star stood by what she did and defended herself against people who said she was wrong online. Star asked, “What did he learn from it? He said, ‘I learned that I didn’t like how that made me feel, and I don’t want anyone else to feel that way because of me.’” “That’s exactly what I meant for him to understand.” Professionals who work with kids don’t agree with Star’s punishment.

A child psychiatrist at Baylor College of Medicine said Star’s way of treating her son was wrong because he was a bully who was hurting other kids. “It’s not a good idea to make your child feel bad about himself or herself when he or she is in elementary school,” the child psychiatrist said. “She should get help, and I think the school could be a place to start.” Star had haters on social media and the internet, but she said that her son’s school district agreed with her choice. Splendora ISD said, “Parents have the right to make important choices and act in certain ways for their child.” What do you think about how this mom punished her son for being mean?
